How to Assemble a Modular Booth in Under 2 Hours
A modular booth can often be assembled quickly when the structure, cases and team roles are planned before the show. The goal is not to rush. The goal is to remove confusion so the team can build the booth in a logical order.
Prepare before the event
Fast assembly starts during packing. Label frames, graphics, lights, tools and accessories. Include a printed setup diagram in the first case. If the booth has been pre-assembled or checked before shipping, on-site risk is much lower.
Assign team roles
One person should read the setup guide and check parts. Others can assemble frames, handle graphics and prepare counters or accessories. Too many people working on the same structure can slow the process.
Build in the right order
- Check all cases and parts.
- Assemble the main frame.
- Install stabilizers, connectors and feet.
- Add lighting or electrical components.
- Attach graphics carefully.
- Place counters, tables and brochures last.
Protect graphics
Fabric and SEG graphics should be handled with clean hands. Do not drag printed fabric across the floor. If wrinkles appear, follow the recommended care method before the show opens.
After setup
Take photos of the finished booth and note any parts that were confusing. These notes help improve packing and instructions for the next event.
